| Label My Food | Would you buy battery farmed eggs from a shop or supermarket?
Probably not.
Yet restaurants and cafes use battery-farmed eggs every
day in cakes, mayonnaise, fresh pasta, and many more dishes,
without telling you. If they were labelled ‘made
with battery-farmed eggs’ would you still want to
eat them?
If you care about what goes into your food and where
it comes from then Label My Food needs you.
Label My Food is an exciting new campaign encouraging
restaurants, pubs, cafes and all other food outlets to
dramatically improve the information they provide to customers
on their menus.
Whether it is animal welfare, the environment, a food
allergy, your religion or just a general interest in food
that motivates you, please show your support.

Registration Impossible January 7, 2009 I could not register ,my legitimately purchased copy of Acronis despite spending a whole evening trying!
Note there is a 64 character registration code which resides on the back of the CD case. On my copy some of the letters were not clear as the type on the case was smudging / flaking off. I tried numerous different combinations though no success.
There is an enclosed flyer which says you can use the first two blocks of eight characters if you register though I could not get this to work either.
I contacted 'live chat', and after a very tedious half an hour, only gleaned from them, there was a 64 character code and the code I had entered was incorrect! The assistant was completely unaware and unwilling to help regarding the shortened registration process (after registering with their forum).
This is the first time I have ever encountered a problem registering a product.
One star, since customer support disastrously poor - I shall be returning this to Amazon and purchasing different software, not to try Acronis again!
Acronis very poor December 29, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought Acronis True Image Home 2009 and had a hell of time getting it installed (Windows XP Sp3). First the ridiculous - would you believe a 64 character registration number! Acronis very kindly have included a registrtion website where you can register the product with only 8 digits and then copy out the full number ... it never worked. After trying to register the item several times I assumed there must be something I was doing wrong. Nope the registration No. that came with the product was wrong. Acronis has issued wrong numbers on many, if not all, of its CDs. After several emails back and forth to Acronis support I finally got a correct number from them and managed to register the product.
Looked forward to finally using the product - wrong again. Tried its much vaunted - "one click protection" seemed to be the best easiest to use option to backup my system - nothing happened waited and waited and still waiting - Acronis does not work, and apparently, so has the support! Emailed Acronis as a very frustrated and angry buyer and still no reply week later.
Even if I ever get it working I don't think I'll ever be able to trust Acronis if I have had so many problems getting it to backup I shudder to think what the software will be like if I ever have to do a restore!
Does exactly what it says on the tin December 23, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have a ton of data. Our memories are made of it in one form or another, and it is important to back up and manage it. Acronis have produced an effective tool that, subject to you buying more space (a backup external hard drive is recommended), takes the pain out of backing up and works silently in the background to ensure a quick and easy back up. The Serial Number install is a complete pain in the bum and seems highly flawed, but aside from that I have no issues with how effective this product is.
2nd item i didnt recieved. December 23, 2008 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
second item i didnt recieve. but based on the previous experince i have, i highly recommend this one.
Worse than useless December 22, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
After surmounting the security code obstacles to installation described by other reviewers I installed the software which after completing an initial backup then, on future scheduled backups, consistently produced repeated "failed to read sector xxx" error messages for two of my hard disks (the same sectors on both disks so not a hardware problem!!)thus failing to complete further backups. The suggested remedies on Acronis's website for this known problem did not resolve the issues and Acronis simply failed to respond to my request for support. Poor product, no support, no idea of customer service. Returned to Amazon for refund.
